Obituary: Eau Claire Leader, 5 Mar 1930, p5:
John Mousel, 714 McDonough St., passed away Tuesday morning after a short illness. He was 68 years of age and resided on a farm at Elk Mound, Wis.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Joseph Mousel, of Elk Mound, and two daughters, Mrs. Bernard Smith, Cecelia Mousel, of this city, also three brothers, one sister and four step-children.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 8 o’clock from the residence and at 8:30 at the Sacred Heart church. Rev. F. X. Orthen officiating. Interment will be at Elk Mound cemetery.

Dad said Mousel farm was about a mile south of Elk Mound. Guy Gibson bought the Mousel farm.
