Funeral services for John Green, 78, of 612 N. Dewey St., who died Thursday at Sacred Heart Hospital, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Golden Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. W. Pittz officiating.
Mr. Green was a member of the Sacred Heart Holy Name Society, Carpenter's Union Local 1074, the American Legion and Catholic War Veterans. He was a veteran of World War 1.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline N.; one daughter, Mrs. John Vespa, Springfield, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. John Michelbook, Engelwood, Col.; two brothers, Ed of Menomonie and Nick of Eau Claire; two half sisters, Mrs. Bernard Smith of Eau Claire and Mrs. Celia Wehrley, Milwaukee; a half-brother, Joe Mousel, Exeland; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday after noon and evening. Rosary devotions Monday.
