Notes for Nils Larsen ENGUM
Bygdebok: About 1745 his brother Lars became operator of the farm. He deeded the farm in 1761 to his son Nils Larsen. Nils was married to Marit Tollefsdatter and had 6 children: one daughter, Mari, was married to Erik Dagfinsen, and they purchased Herberg (farm).
A fire in 1890 destroyed the church records for Biri parish (incl Snertingdal) for the periods 1789-1814 and 1854-1877. Some partial transcriptions made before the fire and some material from 1862 has been preserved. Until 1822 the area Redalen was part of Ringsaker parish in Hedmark.
